Where we get personal information from

How long we keep information

We will kepp account information for as long as the account is active. Information for waste movements we will keep for at least 2 years, or as long as there is an active account associated with the movement. Emails and other correspondence we will keep indefinitely.

Who we share information with

Data processors

1Password
We use 1Password to securely store customer credentials for third party services such as SMTP (sending emails from your own domain) and DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking service.

PostHog
We use PostHog for user analytics and surveys, as well as session replay. Data we send to them for processing is anonymized, and any sensitive information is obfuscated from session replay recordings.

Stripe
Stripe is our payment processor. Payment information is sent to them via our service for the purpose of billing and generating invoices.

FreeAgent
We use FreeAgent as our accounting software. Some customer billing information and invoices may be recorded here.

MXRoute
MXRoute is used to send emails from within our app. Any email contents sent by our customers using our app will be sent for processing.

GitLab
GitLab is used to store our codebase. Some account information like email addrsses may be used to enable feature flags on a per-account basis. We also use a hosted SigNoz instance for service monitoring and tracing which captures requests that may contain anonymized account information.

HostHatch
We use HostHatch as a virtual server provider and host for our web app and database. All incoming data for our services is hosted with them, including customer account information.

Sharing information outside of the UK

Where necessary, we may transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
